Lake Vui Turns Red - Ambae

During an eruption of the volcano on mount Manaro on Vanuatu's Ambae island, the entire lake, normally turquoise in colour, turned blood red in the course of two days. This photo was taken by a friend of mine, one of the team sent to survey the danger.
