Waiting for the Plane - Norsup Airport, Malekula Island

Norsup's airstrip ends about 100 metres from the sea shore. People tend to prefer waiting under this expansive tree because of the shade and the fresh inshore breeze. The benches were constructed out of bamboo by the locals, who sell drinks and 'smol kakae' (island food) to the pre-departed.
