Diver with catch - Sola, Vanua Lava

Although turtle hunting is illegal throughout Vanuatu, people in the Banks group of islands still hunt them. This young man caught an adolescent hawksbill. He and his mates quickly gutted the animal and cooked the meat in coconut milk using the shell as a saucepan.
